ce n’est pas très beau / souvenirs from glauser’s world

portraits made in the exhibition on friedrich glauser at the strauhof in zurich

we invited visitors to have their photograph taken in the worlds glauser lived in and created: with dadaism exploding in the background, at the clinic window in matto’s kingdom, or with the foreign legion in the moroccan desert.

low-key, high-contrast portraits that blend with hannes binder’s visions of glauser’s life and writings.

photographs made with the afghan box camera, unique prints on direct positive paper, 4×5 inch (about postcard size).

the series is part of the project ch-afg.

thanks to the strauhof crew for the invitation and support, to hannes binder for the backdrops and to rémi jaccard for a good idea.
